Add this to the list of King County voter irregularities. Hundreds of "Seattle voters" list as their residence address various private mailbox services and storage rental facilities.
This would seem to be inconsistent with the state's legal definition of residence for voting purposes.
A spokesperson for the Secretary of State's office seemed surprised to learn about the large number of mailbox and storage locker registrations. She initially suggested the explanation that these are mailing addresses. They are not. All of these voters are precincted at such addresses, and many have alternate mailing addresses, some of which are in other states and countries. She referred me to King County Elections for an explanation. The person I reached at King County is off on holiday today and promised to give me a more comprehensive answer tomorrow. In the meantime he said that it's "complicated" and that the county "doesn't have a list of all of the private mail services". I interpret that to mean that they recognize this to be a problem, but don't have a good way of dealing with it. I promise to follow up with him tomorrow and get some more information on this.
The existence of hundreds of registered voters at non-residential addresses is an obvious security hole, and the lack of procedures to prevent such registrations is an open invitation to commit fraud. When a voter is registered at a real address, her neighbors and others can verify for themselves whether that person is a live human being who is eligible to vote. When people are registered at private mailbox services, who knows who these people are, whether or not they even pick-up their mail there, whether they're eligible and competent, or if they even exist?
Indeed, I've already found some seriously suspicious cases, such as where three or more people share the same mailbox, are all registered as permanent absentee voters and have unusual coincidences in names and voting history.
This is the best shot for the WSRP...present piles and piles of evidence and anecdote that proper procedure has been completely neglected. Hope that eventually a judge will say there are too many questions about too many votes and that the whole damn thing has to be redone.
BUMP After four years of BOTH parties doing nothing about this, I begin to wonder if either of them want to. Same with the military mail STILL requiring a postmark when none are available in Mosul... From the president on down - 4 years later the elections are the same mess. Not a very positive sign. If we want different, we'd better speak up.
Ain't nuthin' new here; Seattle's endemic corruption, and the complicity of its fawning lefty press, was written up three decades ago in "On the Take: From Petty Crooks to Presidents" by William Chambliss (flawed thesis, but good reporting).
What next???
''Sun to rise in East tomorrow''?
Tape at 11. (yawn...)
The only interesting thing here is that it took the King County version of Tammany Hall fully 52 days to steal the election.
Nah.
The democrats claim there is no fraud, so we know there is no fraudulent registrations and no double voters in close elections.
/sarcasm.
other states and countries????
Is this nit wit from the Secretary of State's office that dumb??
Throw the book at the traitorous idiots.
The plot thickens!
WAC 434-208-100 Registering to vote -- Nontraditional address. No person registering to vote, who meets all the qualifications of a registered voter in the state of Washington, shall be disqualified because of a nontraditional physical address being used as a residence address. Nontraditional addresses may include shelters, parks or other identifiable locations which the voter deems to be his/her residence. Voters using such an address will be registered and precincted based on the location provided. Voters without a traditional address will be registered at the county courthouse, city hall or other public building near the area that the voter considers his/her residence. Registering at a nontraditional address will not disqualify a voter from requesting ongoing absentee voter status provided the voter designates a valid mailing address.
In other words, they can't use a private mailbox or storage locker.
I bet Rossi will be the person elected here!
Regular dims tricks and fraud will make it so.
bump for later reading
Bump
If any of these bogus people with the bogus addresses are actually found, find out if they were paid off in crack to register illegally!
The dems are too quiet about this win - to me this says: CHEAT CHEAT CHEAT
But .. why are we surprised.
Democrat voter fraud helps RINO candidates.
This is the main reason the Democrats insist that the "homeless" have a right to vote. In addition to gaining votes of actual homeless the Democrats can also manufacture many "homeless" voter registrations. If there are 50 voters named "Mickey Mouse" and the registrations are all to non-existent addresses or to the addresses of bus stops or whatever, the Democrats can say, "Homeless people have the right to vote. The fact that these addresses are not verifiable (fictional) is proof that these voters are homeless. The fact that these registrations cannot be verified proves their validity as legitimate 'homeless' ballots." The media of course eats this up.
I don't believe anyone has yet offered a shred of evidence these people even exist. The thought of hundreds of homeless people - transient by nature and need, all scrambling to get their ballots in - the picture just isn't tuning in for me.
No More Mister Fraudulent-Voter-Appeaser Guys! (AKA Magnanimous Republican candidates)
what ever happened to having to establish residency in a place before you could vote...like 6 months or so?
a citizen who LIVES in an area for a required amount of time has more invested in that area.....and as the theory goes, more apt to take his or her voting choices seriously.....
Democrat party is the fraud party, no question about it....
