My wife is Catholic, and we just found out last week we are having twins. So the subject of a unified church home for my house is coming up in conversation a lot more. If Elca does not follow Gods law this is an option.

First of all, congratulations!

Second, my wife describes herself as a "recovering Catholic" and I was at one time Methodist. We found that the Lutheran liturgy follows the Catholic pattern fairly closely but without some aspects of Catholicism that the Mrs. could not accept. Unfortunately, the ELCA is going through some "issues" with the Sodomites. Your home page does not indicate where you are, but you may want to check out a Missouri Synod or Wisconsin Synod Lutheran Church if there is one in your area.
