First of all, congratulations!
Second, my wife describes herself as a "recovering Catholic" and I was at one time Methodist. We found that the Lutheran liturgy follows the Catholic pattern fairly closely but without some aspects of Catholicism that the Mrs. could not accept. Unfortunately, the ELCA is going through some "issues" with the Sodomites. Your home page does not indicate where you are, but you may want to check out a Missouri Synod or Wisconsin Synod Lutheran Church if there is one in your area.
Third, congratulations again! (After all, you are going to have two...)

That is an option. We are discussing it. I live in TX, so we have options. But bare in mind one of the things we are looking at is which has a better network in our area of schools. We plan to send both of our kids to private religious schools. My wife was educated k thru 12 by Jesuits, and her college is run by Benedictian (SP?) monks. As for myself I was public schooled and I do see a difference. It took me many a year of outside reading to get as good of an education as she did.
