Treasonous, repugnant scum.
He sure did, lookee here:
"Hersh currently contributes regularly to The New Yorker on military and security matters. A 2004 article investigated exactly how Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld circumvented the normal intelligence analysis function of the CIA in their quest to make a case for the 2003 invasion of Iraq. His coverage of Richard Perle in another article, Lunch with the Chairman, led Perle to say that Hersh was the "closest thing American journalism has to a terrorist." Perle publicly threatened to sue Hersh for libel in England where the standard of proof is much lower, but failed to file suit before the statute of limitations ran out."
"In May 2004, Hersh published a series of articles describing and showing with photos the torture by US military police of prisoners in the Iraqi prison of Abu Ghraib. There are allegations that private contractors contributed to them as well and that intelligence such as the CIA ordered them in order to break prisoners for interrogations. It is said to be a usual practice in other US prisons as well, e.g. in Afghanistan and Guantanamo. Hersh went on to publish an article claiming that the abuses were part of a secret interrogations program, known as "Copper Green", expanded to Iraq with the direct approval of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, in an attempt to deal with the growing insurgency there...." - Source: Wikipedia
What I don't understand is...why do Fox News Oreilly and others give Hersh the time of day knowing his seditious motives.
I think we have a few people running around this country who need to be in jail.
Yep .. that's the creep
If the info this article is true .. it really should be investigated
I believe that's correct. He had a big history with covering the Mei Lai (sp) incident too.
bttt
FaLaLaLaLaaaaaa La La La Laaaaaa !
Also an entry from This blog from something called blogforamerica.com, which attributes a "Bill of Wrongs" being developed by CESR and lists an anti-Bush litany of some 10 "wrongs". But I cannot substantiate that actually came from CESR at this point.
Just doing a bit of cross-linking of certain aspects of this story.
That's Howard Dean's website

Sarah Zaidi and Roger Normand to step down from the leadership of CESR
Published on November 15, 2004.
In July 2004 two of CESRs co-founders, both of whom have recently served as Executive Directors of the organization, stepped down to pursue some of their many other interests. Roger Normand and Sarah Zaidi were two of the three musqueteers who had the vision, energy, expertise and faith to set up a fledgling CESR back in 1993. They proceeded to build it up into the worlds first non-governmental organization devoted entirely to economic and social rights, with a wide-ranging remit to protect and promote all of the relevant rights recognized in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
CESR would never have moved beyond the drawing boards if it hadnt been for the dedication and drive of Roger and Sarah, working closely with Chris Jochnick, said NYU Law Professor Philip Alston who currently chairs the Board of CESR. They have both worked tirelessly for a cause in which they passionately believed and they have inspired a great many other activists along the way. Their work was instrumental in changing the landscape of human rights activism by expanding it to cover these much neglected rights.
The Board and staff of CESR express their gratitude and appreciation to Roger and Sarah and wish them every success in their new endeavors.
You're right, it is Dean's old website. Good catch! I still can't link the "10 wrongs" actually being put out by CESR but it's not surprising some moonbat Deanie posted a bunch of anti-Bush drivel on Deans website.
FDR said a chicken in every pot, klintoon said an intern under every desk and mohomade said, theres no greater joy than fat butt boy. These are the idiots who are the threat to America and what we stand for in life. F- the muzlimbs and their mammies too!! (God) loves the infantry!!!!!
I think we have a few select individuals who would contribute more to America by taking that (eventful dirt) nap. It's alright to be an American and proud.(NSNR)
Amazing story. Ritter is lucky he isn't spending the rest of his life in prison for treason. And then in his book has the nerve to whine that the sex sting involving an underage girl was a setup! Just like a liberal.
The book The Real Jimmy Carter was startling in detailing Carter's treasonous activities. Even Time Magazine said that Carter skirts dangerously close to what we used to call treason.
As I mentioned on another thread, perhaps another question might be, what does Hersh have on O'Reilly? Note O'Blowhard was very supportive of not only Hersh, but Dan Rather. Maybe the lawsuit (quickly settled) had more to it than O'Reilly's supporters on FR would like to admit--and maybe it was just the tip of the iceberg.
Did the book on Carter or the Time article make any links with Ritter and this story?
I have that book on my list to read after the holidays .. I heard it was good .. and scary if one thinks about it
Hersh fingerprints are everywhere. From Backhoe's files, The Uranium Files- Iraq, Mr. Bush... and more-
