Counterinaugural protests are being planned
Counter inaugural website ^

These folks are organizing to dampen the mood in D.C. on the 20th. There is even a professor from an ohio college asking for help with filming protests. another democrat group in their posting states their mission as obstructing or hampering this administration in any way possible.

TOPICS: Announcements; Politics/Elections; US: District of Columbia
KEYWORDS: inaugural; inauguralprotests; lefties; w2
Folks like moveon.org from Cape Cod & others are conspiring to disrupt our well deserved & hard fought victory celebration the week of January 20th. In my opinion, they are soliciting illegal donations because they state that they are not publicly disclosing contributors personal information. Take a look at what these sore losers are up to...

If I were running a counter protest to the protest against W, I'd probably have my people carry water balloons. Not very deadly, but they can inflict a lot of discomfort on the 20th of January.

Actually, the group whose site you linked to is a marginal group. Did you see their press conference on CSPAN with "Ming The Merciless" fronting for the group?

They'll have the hardcore group from DC show up and they'll get their AP photo no matter if they have 20 or 20 million.

Actually, that's what the assh*les were putting up for serious discussion, so that in and of itself should keep us from considering it.

Best thing to do, and DC Chapter is organizing a counter to their happy horse crap, it to be a better presence than them, and to get the story of who they are and what they did last time, desecrating the Navy Memorial, is a better use of our time.

I'd caution against using water balloons. Depending upon the judge, assault in some states (Maine, for example) consists of is any unwanted physical contact, even if no physical injury is suffered.

I tend to do my best to avoid being sued.

Throwing a water balloon at a civilian on the sidelines is a minor infraction. Throwing a water balloon at a federal employee could get them in deep doo doo.
Have to admit though, most of these punks don't have the guts to carry out even a water balloon threat. The streets will be lined with police and military honor guard. I would not throw a water balloon at W with a Marine in my face. It might be my last conscious act in my life.

A friend and I are attending the Inauguration, and we're both bringing video cameras. We plan to film the happy inaugural events as well as moonbats running amok.

"The DC Resistance Media Collective will host a press conference to publicize the counter-inaugural this Tuesday, December 21, at 9:30 AM, at the National Press Club (529 14th St. NW), in the Lisagore Room (14th floor).

A packed house always plays better both with and over media, so if you (or anyone you know) can attend, PLEASE do. Last week, ANSWER's press conference was televised on C-SPAN -- which apparently included in its coverage a relatively empty room.

Help build energy around our upcoming actions! We've got a chance to reach a wide audience, if we take advantage of it."

I manage to sit through a few minutes of this press conference on CSPAN. Yup. The most salient aspect about this was the pathetically sparse attendance and utter lack of any major media. Those speaking were the usual collection of A-rab apologists, greenies and birckenstockers. I'm betting that this is going to be such a pathetic fizzle that even Lamestream TV outlets are going to largely ignore them and they will not get the usual WaPo frontpage treatment. Like the festivities outside the NYC republican convention, the impression most people who get a good look at them will come away with is nhilistic, hatefulness. I can't wait to see the signs. I trust some of us D.C. Freepers will post the choicer specimens.

Yeah officer, I was just trying to juggle the 3 water ballons and the wind caught them and they happened to land someplace else.

A better idea would be to sell them hot coffee and cocoa in Pro-W cups. At the bottom of the cup, in fine print, have a message that says "A portion of the proceeds is being donated to the RNC."

I know the DC chapter of Free Republic is mobilizing an effort to counter the communists at the inaugural. Kristinn Taylor, the head of that chapter, was recently on CSPAN detailing some of their efforts. So don't think the Fifth Column will go unanswered.

They love to whip cameras around a la Michael Moore, but boy howdy do they hate it when the camera is turned on them! When I was volunteering at a poll in Jacksonville, FL for BC04, I took pics of some of the freaks and they marched up to me and got in my face demanding to know WHY I took them. I told them because I wanted to, and it's a free country. Heh! Then, one of them "threatened" to take my picture in return and I said, "Please do! I'm PROUD of what I'm doing!"

Actually can be considered a battery if the thrower of the balloon hits someone.
