Important to read the entire article! It mentions how she got involved in setting up a charity that funded terrorists. The article also mentions the young man that was recruited and was recently on a film calling for the spilling of American blood.

From the article:

>>> Olson said she tried to notify the FBI of her ex-husband's activities but she was not taken seriously. <<<

This is not the first story that claims this.

What is up with the FBI???

Orange County Woman: Ex-Husband Is Terrorist

SANTA ANA - An Orange County woman said in an expose that aired last night that her ex-husband is a Muslim extremist who helped set up an al Qaeda sleeper cell in their Anaheim apartment complex in the 1990s.

Saraah Olson told ABC-TV's "Primetime Live" that her ex-husband, Hisham Diab, beat her, turned a local teenager into a terrorist fanatic, and brought other terrorists into their home.

Authorities say the couple's former neighbor, Khalil Deek, is considered a major al Qaeda figure, and is believed to have run the Orange County cell -- one of the first al Qaeda sleeper cells.

She said in the interview that she married Diab without knowing of his ties to terrorism, and that she helped him set up a charity that funneled money overseas.

Olson told ABC-TV that she was in love with Diab but he used her to get a U.S. passport.

She said she converted, along with her son from a previous relationship, to Islam.

Olson said she played a role in drawing up papers for a fake charity, called Charity Without Borders. It was used to funnel money overseas, and was not found or shut down until after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

She said her ex-husband recruited Adam Gadahn, a Garden Grove resident and a student at the Islamic Society of Orange County.

She said Diab viewed Gadahn as "fresh meat," someone his group felt they could control and, because he was unassuming looking, a person who could accomplish their tasks, according to the report.

Olson said Gadahn is the masked man who promised in an al Qaeda video message released in Pakistan in October that the "streets of America will run with blood."

Over three years, Olson told ABC-TV, she and her ex-husband hosted some of Osama bin Laden's top deputies including blind Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman in 1992. He later was sentenced to life in prison for his leadership role in the 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center.

Olson said she tried to notify the FBI of her ex-husband's activities but she was not taken seriously.

In a statement, the FBI responded that counterterrorism is the agency's top priority, and that it acts on all credible leads.

Olson said her ex-husband made her wear a head scarf and beat her -- the first time just weeks after their wedding. The beatings were provoked, she said, by what he deemed were violations of his rules.

She said her ex-husband tried to recruit her son into his group. She said she wanted out, but went along so she would not be hit.

ABC-TV reported that her story was confirmed in detail by the Imam of the Islamic Society of Orange County, Haitham Bundakji.

Bundakji said Diab and the others in the cell were disruptive troublemakers who caused the most harm by recruiting others, especially Gadahn.

" And I blame myself and my people for not embracing him (Gadahn) and not making more efforts to gain him," Bundakji said. "He fell in the wrong hands and he became as aggressive as they were."

Gadahn left the Islamic Society after a series of events that started when he accused Bundakji of "being too Americanized," and one day assaulted the Imam.

Gadahn was prosecuted for the attack. Afterwards, Bundakji said he tried to welcome Gadahn back, but he did not wish to return.

Diab left the country suddenly in 1998 and is being sought by U.S. authorities. He is believed to be hiding in Pakistan with top al Qaeda leaders, Olson said.

Olson said she believes that now is the right time to come forward.

" These are dangerous people and a lot of people were hurt," she told ABC- TV.

The real face of Islam

I have been following the Islamic terrorists and their plotting as is visible to those of us who follow various different Web sites and agree that the Islamic threat is real and that they are trying to indoctrinate our youth with lies about the peaceful nature of Islam.

Unfortunately, a good number of our politicians have parroted that same idiocy - "Islam is a religion of peace," say the apologists.

Islam preaches conversion or heavy taxation or kill the infidel, in that sequence. There is nothing peaceful about a Muslim who has carefully read the three seminal documents of Islam - the Koran, the Haddith and the Sira. The three so-called Holy Books of Islam basically lay out Islam and their minor god's plan (the satanic Allah, that is) to have Islam become the supreme religion in the world.

The so-called prophet of Islam married his wife when she was 6 years old and had intercourse with her when she was 9 years old. What other religion has a pedophile as its founder and prophet!?!

If we remain silent, we are cutting our throats and the throats of our children. We cannot let over 200 years of American history be distroyed by the Islamic militants who would kill to cause their religion to be supreme.

It is true that there are large numbers of peaceful Muslims; however, we do not need to concern ourselves with these deceived innocents. We need to start in the common defense by first educating our children and their peers and encourage the youth to honestly share the truth.

Indeed the truth is mightier than the sword.

Last night ABC correspondent Brian Ross did his best to help this woman present herself as a "victim" of her ex-husband, but nothing either he or she said could quite explain her actions over many years of marriage. She is not the innocent she pretends to be.

My take on the woman is that she was a typical feminist leftwinger on a leftwing campus (where she had an adminstrative job) who wasn't non-plussed at all by her husband's anti-American rhetoric until 911 changed everything. Now she's looking for a way to revise her own history and make herself out to be some kind of heroic "victim."

HMM... Coupla comments...

This looks like good news. They're cracking. The woman has blown the cover on the whole thing (probably some time ago, and it's now going public).

Someone ought to get this woman's story to that idiot twerp college stoont who's converting to Islam and marrying a rug-pilot... the thread was on here yesterday (I'm too lazy to look for it right now). Her future is this woman's past - get ready for islamic black eyes and bruises, dipstick.

FBI has A Problem somewhere. My first question is whether they've always been this way. We've been conditioned to think they're all Ephraim Zimbalist Jr., but I don't know the truth. But if in fact they were once effective but now have gotten corrupted, how did it happen, and how can we reverse it? (I'd like to reflexively blame Clinton, of curse, but getting to the bottom of it is probably more important than pinning it on multiculturalist leftist dirtbags, although they're an obvious target.)

"Orange County Woman: Ex-Husband Is Terrorist"

One more stupid white American girl with low self-esteem who dupes herself into falling in love with another Muslim a--hole. When will our ladies ever learn?

Sorry to be grumpy about this but I've posted on this topic before -- it's the girls with the low self-esteem that tend to fall for the arrogant, macho, Muslim students or immigrants, matches which inevitably lead to break-ups, custody problems, and violence.

I shouldn't say it only happens in America -- it is also epidemic in Canada and Europe. Y'all remember the pregnant Irish lass whose Palestinian boyfriend gave her a ticket to fly home to meet his mom, but changed planes at the last minute? He asked her to take his luggage anyway, which contained a bomb intended to blow up the plane and the d-ckhead's "beloved."

At the risk of being slammed, is it the fault of the FBI if the administration in power at the time was telling them their main job was to handle things like Waco and Ruby Ridge? I don't know all the particulars so I could be very wrong here, but it seems to me the FBI in the 90s was not about going after terrorism but about going after guns, missing children, anti-abortion activists, and any right wing group the administration at the time felt was a threat. Individual FBI agents don't determine areas of interests and if they are told to expend 95 percent of their time going after a specific target it is quite likely that if a woman calls claiming her husband is a terrorist they are going to put it on the back burner. She should have told them her husband had a rebel flag and a sawed off shotgun, and they would have come running.
