Right under the HELP link, (upper right) you see Threads and Messages.
Threads are latest posted stories.
Messages are latest comments posted.
So if you come to FR to find out the news that other Freepers found newsworthy and posted, select Threads.
If you come to FR to see what other Freepers are
talking about select Messages. Each time a freeper
posts BTTT (or anything else) that thread jumps to
the top.
I find the Messages option maddening, in that you can see
two stories you want to read, but by the time you get back
from the first, the second has been BTTTed right off the screen by comments against other stories.
