The history of Israel, and pre-Israel contained in the Bible give me hope that my faith is not in vain. Any thinking individual at some point realizes that all answers are not provided. If they were faith would not exist.
Part of faith is having faith that at some point the secrets of the universe will be revealed to the believer's satisfaction. The wonderful story of God's love for us will turn out to be something even more incredible, than we have been led to believe, if that is possible.
Here's to those that have decided to take that risk with me. And here's to those that haven't. We all have a decision to make, and I am led to believe that God loves those that come down on either side, but is heartened only by those who come down on one side.
Rom. 8:24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
NIV
Rom. 8:24 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has?
