Just checking to say hi and see if there was any juicy scuttlebutt flying around lately. All of these airliners getting targeted with lasers has got me a little concerned. We even had one of these incidents close to me, in little Medford, Oregon. I wondered why terrorists would practice in Medford (also known as BFE...lol). It then occured to me that Medford is only about 20 minutes drive from Ashland, the town that makes San Francisco look downright conservative. I don't remember the details right off of the top of my head, but terrorist cells have been very active in that little college town. I also think a large terrorist training camp was discovered in the same general area not too long ago. Medford would have the closest airport with any commercial fights...you do the math. Maybe I'm wrong, but it is something to consider.
BTW, did anyone catch "Smallpox" on FX tonight? I would like to say I was surprised when they insinuated that the terrorist was a conservative white Christian male, but I saw that one coming from a mile away. Just like what they did to the movie version of The Sum of All Fears. Sigh...
