All of us have committed sin.
All of us cannot say we have not asked God to forgive us for hurting someone.

But what about the Bully who made us feel so small, made us question ourselves,
Humiliated and degraded us?

As good Christians we are taught to turn the other cheek, to forgive, to pray for that Bully.

That same Bully can torture innocent, defenseless, animals who are not able to do these things.

That same Bully can grow up without a conscience and know exactly how to manipulate the law or his parents.

That same Bully can molest his neighborhood child and maybe even kill them.

Then there is the seasoned criminal, psychopath who society deems as an illness called sociopathy. Meaning he in someway had a tortured childhood, is a genetic u-turn and society enables this person to commit crimes guilt free.

A parent who is not willing to acknowledge or recognize that in someway, they are not accountable for their abuse to their child. Many adults are not even willing to understand what accountability even means.

Then we go to the mindset of the terrorist, who kills in the name of Allah. And they are right with their God in doing this and reasoning this.

We have all cried, pleaded and been at a position in our lives suffering a tragedy or incident that was so tremendous that the only way we could hang onto a sliver of sanity
and grace to find solace in praying. Many of us know that prayer is all we have sometimes and it does get us through.

I have seen so much hypocrisy in people alleging to be devout. They go to church, they confess and they believe this is what makes a good Christian. Some listen to inspirational music and read the bible and feel this makes them absolved from any wrong they do.

I use to see men get drunk, beat their wives. I saw one man do this and cheat on his very wedding night. But he made his confession to his priest, went to church Sunday, received his communion and thought all was right with the world.

I know a woman, someone very closely related, who is a born again Christian who is on the bandwagon for marching for every cause, helping her fellowman but she has been apathetic to her own son who for no misfortune of his own, wound up on drugs and homeless. He reached out to be turned away.

My grandfather always taught me to live by charity is from the heart. You do not turn your back on family. He taught me you do not need to go to church to be pray, you do not need to support the Vatican to get absolution and you certainly can stand right in God’s eyes and be a wonderful person with a Christian attitude and not be as those I mentioned above.

So you are asking yourself where am I going with this. Yes I have had an epiphany, yes I’ve seen some light at the end of my very long tunnel.

Having a conscience means making a conscious choice. In order to feel guilt and to repair any damage you do to another means accountability to self. The problem with the world today is far too many are not willing to acknowledge this.

When they cut that guy off in traffic or get cut off their first response is Anger. We all know what anger can lead to. People have gotten to where they do not even try and control or understand their emotions and thus their consequences.

The repeated felon surely is not concerned. The pedophile has no internal conflicts. The terrorist justifies his acts through religion.

But what if we did not have to wait for The Day of Judgment?!

What if “What you reap, you sow” was an everyday reality in “this” life?

God has the power without vengeance to make hate stop. Evil, crime etc.

What if we didn’t have to see an “Eye for an Eye” in the afterlife?

And what if it could bring ‘true’ peace?

Wars would cease. No terrorist in any form would be able to instill fear.

And to accomplish this all without striking them down. All this resulting in a victim not feeling their choices are limited to revenge or comeuppance.

To make those who use another’s weakness or vulnerability against them will never see any reason not to do this unless they are made to. Rehabilitation in our penal systems obviously does not work.

What if we didn’t need guns for self-defense but our weapon would be praying for the right thing against our enemies.

Well, I prayed recently with a grievous heart and non-stop tears against the latest attack on me and my children. I prayed that the person who hurt me, have the pain in my children’s hearts and minds and my own ‘Reflected’ back on them.

Creative visualization is a powerful tool combined with prayer. In my mind’s eye I built an invisible mirror around my children and myself. I asked God to have this bully have what she caused reflect back from this mirror into her heart, mind and touch her soul and to reach into her spirit. For the damage she caused our spirit’s, I only asked she feel that. I also asked God if the pain became unbearable for her to reach out to God as I then was, to tell him as I did:

“God, this burden hurts too much too bear, I know you carry me and my children who were a gift from you.” I asked that she turn to God to carry her load and ask forgiveness for the pain she caused. I simply wanted her to ‘feel’ it, bringing a blessed remorse. To me this was the only solution in my dire hour. For I felt it didn’t depend on her own conscience, morals of the wrong she had inflicted. THAT was not going to happen.

If someone is ‘made’ to truly SEE the pain they inflict, sometimes even emotional or mental torture, especially physical and THEN be made to FEEL it unto themselves, how better for them to not repeat this pain to another? An Eye for an Eye without physical punishment or manmade laws that do not work.

Make someone face THEMSELVES!

I know *I” have looked in a mirror. I know *I” have seen ugly and God does not like ugly. By ugly I mean an ugly heart. A mean intention. A cruelty I hurt someone innocent with. It is the hardest thing to face ‘ourself’ and to look in a mirror when we are angry or hateful.

Instead of trying to figure out the‘why’ of someone unjustly or unfairly attacking you, or what that poor person must be feeling, let them look at themselves, so when they zero in on a target for any reason, it ricochets back at them. A true “In Your Face”.

I forgave a stalker. I turned the other cheek. He tried to kill me a second time. For three years I lived in constant fear. I learned every technique of learning to making strong coping mechanisms. He was a repeat felon who served prison time and plead out 4 felony counts against me. As many victims I was further victimized by the judicial system and he was given nine years probation. And I am still looking over my shoulder after twenty years for him because of that.

My brother was murdered by another repeat offender. As we all know money talks and his killer walked.

What is done for murdered children? What is done to the rapist or terrorist?

Aren’t you tired of asking yourself:

“Why do Bad things happen to Good People?”

Those of us do read self-help books, we seek advice, we pray to God, we are just trying to survive in an ever increasing world of hurt and anger, humiliations and intense emotion suffering. Many from those bullies that have no spiritual backbone.

It is a GUARANTEE if they had to face ‘themselves’, they who do not fear nor respect God, they who do not worry about being judged or punished by our laws, those who laugh at us their victims, if they had NO choice but to see, then feel the crime or deed they inflicted well, can you not see this is the truest weapon of Self-Destruction.

We do not have to stoop to their level to protect ourselves or other’s they may hurt somewhere down the road. We can use our prayer to ask God to incarcerate them in their own world of cause and affect. This would be the truest rehabilitation for the most real consequence for their conscious choice. This would be a true Victim’s Prayer for spiritual justice.

Psychiatrists, psychologists, no medical doctor can make someone have a conscience. Bullies of all sorts just do not care. Criminal minds have not one clue not to commit their crime. They should be made to judge “Themselves” plain and simple.

Let us free ourselves from any pain another causes us. Let us not allow “Ill will” to fester in ‘our’ souls. Obliterate vengeful thoughts and feelings. Do not feel shame because
other ‘s treat us shameless.Ease the fear of being helpless.Do not poison your soul with anger at this helplessness.Do not allow self-loathing because you do not have the power to stop them. Do not hate, it will kill you.

Dear God,

Please do not let me be the only one who reaps what they sow in this life.
Please do not let only me be the one who gets their “what comes around”
Please let my reward be Heaven but stop this eternal Hell I am living through.
I do not want to question you or tell you how to do your job.

I prayer for the simplicity of “The Reflection”
I pray for the peace of “Internalizing”
Forgive me for those whom I have hurt
Forgive me if I have hurt you or abused the gift of life you have given me
It is in Your will the strong will survive

I pray for you to carry the person who must “See” themselves
Give them the strength when the flood of recognition comes and they see what they have caused
All else is up to them God, you can rest.

What you posted tonight applies to many of us, in different areas of the post. Agreed prayer is the ultimate answer!
