"Warning on fake meter readers"
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The city of Cincinnati is warning customers of the Greater Cincinnati Water Works -- especially elderly customers -- about letting people into their homes who say they need to read a meter or check water pressure."
Unlikely to be terrorism-related I would think - too much like "retail" level activity rather than the more effective "wholesale" activity that they'd probably rather undertake.
It is however one of a number of ruses used by thieves or scam artists to gain access to your home or your identity in order to steal something ......
