A Macedonian policeman was wounded and an insurgent killed in police operation in Tetovo for the arrest of armed insurgents in Kosovo, lead by Lirim Jakupi A.K.A. the Nazi, reports Makfax. The info was confirmed earlier today by the Macedonian Interior Ministry. They added that the operation was previously planned after information was received that the gang was hiding in a house in Tetovo. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security today announced that the Port Au Prince Airport in Haiti does not meet international security standards, and the department is taking action to warn travelers of this security deficiency. Based on an assessment by a team of security experts from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Homeland Security has determined that the airport does not currently maintain security measures consistent with the standards established by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
In view of this finding, Homeland Security has directed air carriers issuing tickets for travel between the United States and Port Au Prince to notify ticket purchasers of this determination. Homeland Security also directed that the determination be displayed prominently at all U.S. airports and published in the Federal Register. The order is effective immediately."

NO CHRISTMAS IN BAGHDAD

BAGHDAD, IRAQ (ANS) -- It’s Christmas in Baghdad. As we always say these days; it is the best of times and the worst of times.
It is the best of times because Saddam Hussein is gone and we finally have our freedom back. It is the worst of times because a small gang of Saddam’s thugs, teamed up with Iran, Saudi Arabia and the terrorists of the world are trying to take it all away from us.
This Christmas for the first time we cannot go to Church. We have had over 20 of our Churches bombed over the past few months. Up to 40,000 of our people have voted with their feet and left the country.
Who are we? We are the Assyrian Christians - the original people of Iraq. We are the people of Nineveh in the Bible that Jonah came to.
This is our country. We should not have to leave, but we are being forced to.
CHRISTMAS IN BAGHDAD?
We have much to be thankful for. The British and Coalition forces are doing their best. They have sacrificed tremendously to liberate our country.
Yet, how do you fight people who are so backward that that they blow up cars, people, animals and mosques? How do you fight people who cut off heads while they quote scripture?
Our biggest fear? That the Coalition forces and the world will tire of us and leave us worse off than we were before.
This Christmas we cannot go to Church. We cannot worship with our families as we always do. We cannot leave the Assyrian Christian Center in Baghdad where we will celebrate as best as we can in our compound.
The enemies of freedom, democracy and the rule of law have already rocket attacked our precious compound once.
What are we thankful for?
We are thankful for the many freedom loving peoples throughout the world who still care, pray for and help us.
Our next challenge? The upcoming elections. While the world slept the forces of evil quietly and deviously set up an election system that is designed to turn our country into the Islamic republic of Iraq.
We are doing our best. We have organized a website assyrianvote.com to organize our people worldwide to fight against it, but the United Nations who all Iraqis hate with a passion has worked together with the enemies of freedom to design a system using the proportional representation system which takes away all local representation and sets up a winner take all election that will hand power to those who hate freedom.
At this Christmas as we huddle in our compound we put out a call to the freedom loving peoples of the world. Please help us! Please stand up for all that you hold dear.
Please support us as we fight for the same rights and freedoms that you hold dear.
A generation ago the Christian and Jewish Population of the Middle East was nearly 20% - now it is under 2%. The forces of evil are driving the peace loving peoples of the Middle East out. Will we have to join them?
The battle we are facing is a battle that the rest of the world will ultimately pay for. If we fail and our people, the Assyrian Christians, the original people of Iraq leave where will we go?
We will go to Europe, America, Australia and our problem will be a problem of the world. Our problem is your problem!
At Christmas, the time of Thanksgiving and Peace we have a message to the British People.
First, “thank you” - thank you for caring when nobody else did. Thank you for the sacrifice - we will never forget it. Your young men and women gave their lives not for a mistake, not for colony but for freedom so we could have a chance.
Second, please stay the course! Stand shoulder to shoulder with us as we face evil. Together we can face it down and defeat it. If we fail it will spill onto your borders as well. When we succeed the forces of darkness and evil will be defeated and then we can celebrate Christmas as should - in peace and rejoicing that Christmas is the symbol of rebirth, freedom and hope!
Merry Christmas from your friends in Baghdad. Together we will win!

“All anti-aircraft units and jet fighters have been ordered to shoot down the flying objects over Iran’s airspace,” spokesman of the Regular Army Air Force Colonel Salman Mahini said.
Flying object fever has gripped Iran after dozens of reported sightings in the summer and in recent weeks. State-run media has reported sightings of unidentified objects flying over parts of Iran where nuclear facilities are located.
“The unidentified flying objects could be satellites, comets or spying or reconnaissance crafts trying to monitor Iran’s nuclear installations,” Mahini said.
“Flights of unknown objects in the country’s airspace have increased in recent weeks ... (they) have been seen over Bushehr and Isfahan provinces,” the Resalat newspaper reported on Saturday.
There are nuclear facilities in both provinces. The timing of the reported increase in sightings, which comes as the US is urging allies to confront Iran over its nuclear program, has strengthened Iranian public perceptions that the objects are surveillance or hostile aircrafts monitoring Iran."

Al-Qaeda 'is plotting attack on London's New Year celebrations'

A secret intelligence report has revealed that security chiefs believe al-Qaeda may target New Year celebrations across Britain, The Telegraph has learned.
The document, which has been distributed to every military base in Britain warns that "crowded places or events" are under "a severe threat" of attack from terrorist bombers. The report, which is marked "restricted", is understood to have been compiled by military intelligence specialists, MI5 and Special Branch officers.

Under the heading "International Terrorism", the report warns that military personnel and establishments within the Government Security Zone in central London, which includes Horse Guards in Whitehall, and Buckingham and St James's Palaces, face a "substantial" threat of attack. It says military bases across the country are also facing a similar threat.
The report, which is part of a monthly security update for the armed forces, adds that the threat "comes from al-Qaeda and associated terrorist groups". It continues: "Targeting against US and UK interests both at home and abroad remains a priority for al-Qaeda. Their attacks - including the Madrid train bombings in March - have been against soft targets with the aim of creating as many casualties as possible."

Californian Saraah Olson says she was married to a suspected al Qaeda operative who was part of a terrorist sleeper cell.
NEW YORK, Dec. 23, 2004 — A California woman reveals to ABC News that she unknowingly married a Muslim extremist who helped set up what authorities say was one of the first al Qaeda sleeper cells out of their Orange County apartment complex.
Saraah Olson says she watched as her then-husband, Hisham Diab, and his group transformed local teen Adam Gadahn into an America-hating fanatic who she says is the masked man who promised in an al Qaeda video message released in Pakistan late October that the "streets of America will run red with blood."
"I was just a stepping stone to a green card," Olson said. "I married a terrorist. I married somebody who did not like America, who didn't like Americans."
Gadahn, who met Olson's former husband at a local mosque, was "fresh meat," she said. "Someone they could control. Not only that, he's very unassuming-looking, he can do a lot of their tasks."
The voice, gestures and rhetoric of the video's "Azzam the American" were all familiar to Olson, especially the phrase "red with blood," which was one of the group's favorite sayings, she said.
And over the course of six years, Olson said, some of Osama bin Laden's top deputies would stay with her and her husband, including blind Sheik Omar Abdel-Rahman, who would later go to prison for life for his role in organizing terrorist plots against the United States.
Olson said she repeatedly tried to notify the FBI of her husband's suspicious activities, but that she was never taken seriously. "I'm in hell," Olson remembers thinking after she recognized Abdel-Rahman in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. "I have entered the bowels of hell and I'm going to be here forever. And I've only been married seven months. I've got a terrorist in my house."

But are we still allowing flights from Port Au Prince? If passengers are at risk it would seem that any aircraft flying in is a risk.
How many more of these incidents all across the US are the FBI not taking seriously? This makes me sick.
