I've been there and seen the purported tomb of Daniel.
Anyway, it was interesting being in the same city, on the same streets where Daniel, Xerxes, Esther and others walked.
Another interesting point is that Zoroaster is supposed to have been born near what is now Herat in Afghanistan. However, like most things about the prophet, there is proof both for and against this.
well, St. Thomas pretty definitely came to India and the Christians there call themselves Marthomites.

That's in inaccuracy. All of the "Thomas Christians" are recognized as Christians by the Catholic Church.
The former president of the company, that my husband works for, sent out an email, last year, sayint that he was going to New Mexico to meditate Zarusthian style. He was from the mountainous regions of Spain, where he said his family had lived for generations.
