I see you have chosen to humiliate yourself in public.

Rummy also chooses to humiliate himself in public. But was this trip really his choice?

"Do you mean Kristol"

Yes...

"No, I hear from ordinary military folks and their families."

Oh Really???? Well! I have visited our troops at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval Hospital many times, and that's not what I hear from them.

What "ordinary military folks" are you hearing from?

Rummy has been to Iraq to visit our troops more than any other public official

Thanks for the ping.

I still can't watch or read about what happened in Mosul without getting weepy. Such a heartbreaking thing...

Delighted to be home, though. Arrived in DC today to spend Christmas with my family.

Its a good thing I'm not in Iraq.

I'm kind of glad to be getting a break from it, too. :-)

wish the damn libs (and RINOs) would get off his back.

Two chances of that happening, Slim and none.
Never fear, Rummy's a big boy, and has forgotten more about political infighting than most people know.

Did you see your welcome home thread on the Finest!

I did! I was stunned. It was beautiful and humbling. I wanted to respond personally to all of the wonderful posts from people, but jet-lag dragged me down into a 14-hour slumber.

I posted one response to everyone. Kind of a shortcut. :-)

Merry Christmas to you!
