There are no "party registered" voters in WA State, so there is no way to tell if they come from voters who chose Rossi, or an alternative, until they are removed from their sealed envelope and actually processed and counted -- those in question weren't. Which is not to say that they couldn't have come from precincts within King County that leaned less Dem and more Republican.

Voter backlash will be seen next time Rossi runs for any elected office. I only hope those who would vote Republican get off their butts and go vote in person in future elections, not risk a not-counted mail-in vote based on some technicality -- plus has your name and signature on the envelope!

And shame on Gregoire the hypocrit.

But she will never have a mandate if this travesty is allowed to stand.
