Is Nothing sacred?
I don't believe in Atheists.
Nothing Day?
I know when they could celebrate it:
NEVER!
athiest do believe in something. They believe in what is. They believe in what exists. So atheist believe in the real or reality. That's all.
I love this sort of thread. It inevitably showcases the Christian virtues of tolerance and humility in all their glory.
A NOTHING SONG
Copyright by Ken Bierschbach
This is a nothing song, its not too important its not real long
It doesnt have a message, doesnt take a stand
It doesnt have anything to say thats grand
This is a nothing song, it doesnt make a point, doesnt right a wrong
Its easy to play and its not hard to sing
It really isnt much of anything, so
Sha la la la la do do do, hey na nee na nee, be bop a lu
Hey bop a re bop, wop bam boom
And thats the chorus of this nothing tune
This is a nothing song, its has no direction its not real strong
But it was somethin to do at a quarter past two
Feel free to sing along on the do do dos
(chorus)
Theres ob-la-di and ob-la-da, theres cold-cuts in the fridge
The abadaba honeymoon was really somethin
That was the bridge
This was a nothing song, its almost done, yea its almost gone
If you should wonder what it was about
You know nothing is the answer now lets all shout
Why not let them celebrate on Darwin Day?
How can people base their beliefs on nothing?
WWND
"and would be celebrated by holding nationwide conferences explicitly designed to accomplish nothing."
It's called the United Nations.
Very appropriate!
One serious comment. This article makes me regret the various occasions when I've stood up for the rights of Christian students, and a couple of specific occasions Catholic students, here at the University, against the gibes and sometimes outright hostility of various faculty. If institutional catholicism has decided I'm the enemy, I guess I'll start acting like the enemy. It would be just plain foolish to do good to those that hate me.
I know what I'll do on nothing day, I'll quote passages from the Constitution, continue to support the troops, and feed my family.
I might even clean a gun or two.

They already have their own day - 1 April - see Psalm 14:1
I haven't had much respect for this guy since he has supported civil unions and other homosexual rights.
