They can only steal the election if it is close. You are correct that this only lights a fire under the Silent Majority to get out in even bigger numbers next time.
Election fraud is often accepted by the public once the false "winner" is installed. People tend to rally around incumbents regardless of the circumstances of their election.

I have no proof of fraud and so far, all I've seen are alegations. Knowing what I do about Washington politics, I wouldn't be surprised if the claims are true, but I don't think I would take my suspicions to court... Certainly not a Washington court anyway.
