To me, "G-d" is the abbreviation of a well-known blasphemy. At best. At worst, it's an attempt to be holier than God Himself by manmade, self-referential ostentations.

Festivus is "officially" celebrated today, on Dec. 23, not the 25. Since it is not supplanting Christmas, why all the storm and fury?

As such, here are my "Airing of Grievances.
I am disappointed by the Freepers who are freaked out by Festivus.

That is a common practice to avoid the casual use of the name of the Lord, by eliding the "o". It is not an abbreviation for G*d damn. But don't let that stop you from declaring others to be blasphemers. You're on a roll.
