Festivus is "officially" celebrated today, on Dec. 23, not the 25. Since it is not supplanting Christmas, why all the storm and fury?

As such, here are my "Airing of Grievances.
I am disappointed by the Freepers who are freaked out by Festivus.
There, now on to Feats of Strength...

Yeah, we should really try to find some site dedicated to (among other things) serious discussion of cultural phenomena and their meaning.
