This is sad.

However, there are plenty of nonprescription ways to reduce LDL and triglycerides.

Cinnamon lowers LDL by almost 25% and triglycerides by 30% in just 20 days (From WebMD):

Omega-3's (fish oil) are also easily used. Some probiotics have beneficial effects, but not as strongly as these.

Of course there is exercise and curbing the bad foods.

We all need to take better care of ourselves. It is much more fun to do so now than when the damage is already done.

That's an interesting article Scott, thanks for posting it. I've ballyhooed the benefits of cinnamon for a long time, though for different reasons.
