John Kerry carried New York in November, but he may not get the 31 electoral votes.
That's because an error gave New York's 31 electoral votes to somebody named "John L. Kerry."
State officials say they're rushing corrected copies of the documents.
The mistake was found after the official "certificate of vote" appeared on the National Archives Web site.

First they give an electoral vote to Edwards, and now this. And the libs have the nerve to call Red Staters stupid? LOL.

Pposted multiple times - New York is going to be allowed to correct the error. No chellenge (of course) expected. No news except for the continued embarrassment, etc., etc.

John who? I thought Teresa was the one who ran.

I'll just assume that the L stands for LOSER!!

Of course you are right, and Kerry will still get the votes, but it doesn't make them look too smart!
Do you know, though, if Kerry will get the EV that went to John Edwards?

What would make this complete is for someone named "John L. Kerry" to file suit to claim his legally filed electoral votes.

OK, there has to be a John L. Kerry in Massachusetts -- anyone know him? He's the rightful owner of 31 electoral votes.

Actually, in the Minnesota case, I believe the answer is NO -- the vote goes to "John Ewards' [sic].

Actually, they gave that Minnesota electoral vote to "Ewards"
Are Democrats truly this deficient?

I hadn't found one in Mass, but there are two in Louisiana. Wonder which one they meant?

There is a John Kerry in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
Maybe the L stands for Lawrence? His number is published. No initial available on 411.com

It's called "nothing better to do tonight!" (BTW - The best line from the original Minnesota thread was that the misguided Elector likely got into the Electoral College on a football scholarship).
