Were the parents unaware of their daughter's pregnancy? This article doesn't mention whether they knew their daughter had taken RU-486.

They would be somewhat less admirable had they intended to cause the death of their grandchild and were now upset because both their grandchild and daughter died.

I don't mean to be an ogre or anything, and I am not unsympathetic to a young life taken, but I say oh well. She tried killing a poor unborn human baby because she was too irresponsible to do the right thing. Why should the child have been punished? I almost want to say that it servers her right.
