In my opinion, the best thing to do is to walk away, holding your head high.

This is what Thune did in his previous US Senate run, which he lost under suspicious circumstances.

The SD voters rewarded him in this last election with the win over Daschle.

On another post, someone said that Rossi should not actually concede but merely withdraw with class while showing the WA electorate the depths of the Dem's efforts to simply "get a win".

I'm not sure it was because he lost "suspiciously" in 2000. This year, the RNC poured millions and millions into Thune's campaign. Yes, they knew Daschle was weak, but the welll-financed campaign won it. The RNC would never pour money into this loser Blue state. If they'd been willing to, Rossi might have had a convincing win in the first place.

We'll clean their clocks in the next election there, plus, heck, we got the PRESIDENCY this year.

I figure we're ahead.
