OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Washington state's Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that hundreds of belatedly discovered ballots from Seattle's King County should be counted in the extremely close governor's race - potentially enough to tip the balance in favor of Democrat Christine Gregoire.

And what of all the military ballots that were spolied due to a "designee's error"?

This just sets the country up to do manual recounts in every election where Dems don't like the outcome. Imagine if the National Nov. election were to be manually counted... crap like this only makes it that much more likely to happen.

For the sake of future elections, I think it would most definitely be worth it.
We're the laughing stock of the nation right now. Rush can now say "for those of you in rio-Linda, west palm beach and King county..."

Yep. The GOP needs to challenge this stolen election every way they can, and if they lose, Gregoire must be recalled a week after she takes office.

They called for him to concede last night? More evidence that they had this fixed....prolly knew she had "won" by yesterday morning.

Just let it go. It's not like Rossi could get anything done anyway.Even though I live in Seattle I don't mind the concept of this city reaping what it's sown.

Recall in WA is difficult to impossible at best.

Sadly, the law is such that winning the best 2 out of 3 doesn't matter, as long as you win last. I think Rossi should neither contest nor concede under the circumstances.

Unfortunate, but not surprising. This sends a message loud and clear to all other voters in this state. "Your Vote Does Not Matter".
King County runs this state. Also sends a message to our young people. Cheating is alright. Win at any cost. What do we do now?

You don't mind your tax money spent by them? Com'on! If you this only effects Seattle you need a reality check.

The people in WA need to begin a recall effort NOW! Rossi is now on the outside looking in and, unless they hold a new election, I don't see him winning. Sad but true.

Just for grins...
How many people remember where the first reported break-in of a Republican/Bush campaign headquarters took place, when a computer containing the election get-out-the-vote plans was stolen?

This involves a state election and an interpretation of state law. I do not see why the SCOTUS would get involved.
