Most folks outlook on life determines how they view Scripture, rather than the other way around!
The longer I live, the more aware I become how far my life strayed from Scripture. The longer I study, the more aware I become that the world is hostile God's ancient paths... and that if I am to follow Him I will not see many other others on those paths.
