Pretty soon these fish will be wanting same-sex marriages...send them to San Francisco Bay or Cape Cod...

Two Questions, one half serious, try to guess which one:
Since they are seeking a large grant to study this phenomenon, I'd first like an independent person or group to find a lot more of these fish....who knows what metrofishual panderers might try with turkey...ah, fish basters to set up a few dozen males, catch-and-release with roe?
If a female fish is found during the course of this experiment that has abnormally coarse scales and was not monogamous, would that mean they have a Rough Ho to Roe?

The mental picture is cracking me up.
I was thinking about the way they would take a hook if you caught one.
I wonder if they would just suck on the bait and play with it.

a sign that a little-understood type of pollution is spreading downstream from West Virginia
I don't think so, if it was pollution coming down from West Virginia we would be seeing male fish growing eggs with their cousins.
Ok, ok. Even Arkansans are allowed to make these little jokes on rare occasions.

How ironic, since most queers don't like the taste of fish.

On a similar but different topic, a doctor friend of mine lived nextdoor to people who kept a chicken coop. He got tired of the rooster waking him at dawn, climbed over the fence, and forcefed the rooster estrogen. I helped. It was a hoot, but it didn't work.Rooster may have laid eggs, come to think of it.

Yes. And if former Dallas County prosecutor Henry Wade tries to force the fish to give birth to its offspring, well, you might end up with (drum roll) the case of Roe v. Wade.

Well in DC, it really is something in the water. This does explain much...

SQUIDS--DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME. THIS IS A JOB FOR PROFESSIONALS.
P.S. When Roe v. Wade is overturned, a press conference will be held. And newspapers will be headlined:

>Many scientists are concerned that people, as well as other animals, might be affected. "It's not good news that there's
something that feminizes male fish in your water," said Gina Solomon, a senior scientist at the Natural Resources Defense Council. But the Environmental Protection Agency (news - web sites) has not set standards for many of these pollutants. Because of this,
many drinking-water plants make no special efforts to remove them.
