Absolutely. Everything that is posted here is subject to peer review by tens of thousands of knowledgeable Freepers.
I don't say "knowledgeable" as a toss-away compliment. I've noticed that, no matter what the topic... law, politics, physics, music, education... we have a full staff of qualified experts. People with staggering educations and years of experience, ready to confirm or debunk any claim.
The MSM should hope for such.
Very very often, the Old Media FRAUDcasters are more like two months behind the 'net with stories, not two days.
Each and every week for since the Lewinsky Blue Dress story, I have discussed with some friend or colleague items that they had not heard of, and items which would not hit the old news outlets for over a month. A real good example is the Oil-For-Food mess, which was reported by the Wall Street Journal and FR almost two years before the rest of the world started to pay attention at all. It is by no means the only example though, and those who pay attention to a third of the stories on FR will always be a week ahead of the FRAUDcasters.
