It is news guaranteed to make many Republicans squirm. Was Abraham Lincoln, founder of the party now seeking a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage in America, actually gay himself?
A new book, published next month, certainly thinks so. The Intimate World of Abraham Lincoln by C.A. Tripp produces evidence that one of America's greatest Presidents had a long-term relationship with a youthful friend, Joshua Speed, and shared his bed with David Derickson, captain of his bodyguards.
Tripp, a former researcher for sex scientist Alfred Kinsey and an influential gay writer, includes asides by many of Lincoln's close friends. 'He was not very fond of girls, as he seemed to me,' his stepmother, Sarah Bush Lincoln, once told a friend.
It also includes a diary excerpt by one upper-class Washington woman who wrote of Derickson: 'There is a Bucktail soldier here devoted to the President, drives with him, and when Mrs L is not home, sleeps with him. What stuff!'
Scholars have long debated Lincoln's sexuality, and as early as the 1920s were making veiled references to his relationship with Speed. However, critics say that in the pioneer days men sleeping together in rough circumstances was not uncommon.
Now Tripp has discovered letters between Lincoln and Speed which supposedly betray a deep intimacy.
But Tripp's book really breaks new ground in its exhaustive portrayal of many of Lincoln's possible gay lovers, including one man who said Lincoln's thighs 'were as perfect as a human being could be'.
'Make no mistake - Abe Lincoln was gay,' said Professor Scott Thompson, from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts.
But David Donald, a Harvard professor and respected Lincoln biographer, has disputed Tripp's findings in his own book, We Are Lincoln Men, published last year, and says there is no definitive proof of Lincoln having affairs with any men.

When first, um, er, "lady", her staff was composed of known lesbians, but that does not prove that she is one. Both Hillary and Bill Clinton pandered to radical pro-homosexual activism and homosexual "exclusive rights" groups. Clintons' pander for political advantage. For political expediency, the Clintons' will scrape the bottom, literary and figuratively.
The point being: there is more evidence in their respective historical contexts that Hillary is a lesbian than Lincoln was gay.

However, Hillary is quite alive and open to accusations of "guilt by association."

Go ahead you wanta be liberal Republicans, who don't want to hurt the feelings of sexual perverts and have all of your historical icons be remade in the homosexual image legalize gay marriage and civil unions make them feel at home in the party. She was addicted to paregoric (a mixture of opium and alcohol) that turned her into a whining, complaining, B/witch, that had screaming, and fist flying fits at a drop of a hat at any time any place.
She would spend money as if it grew on trees, and if hubby had to talk to her she would make him pay for it in a number of ways. One example being that she would belittle him, and embarrass him in front of others for payback.
Its also a good taste problem. It doesn't take religion to express disgust at what is a clearly deviant behavior. The anal cavity will never be a vagina and placing sexual equipment there is first unhealthy and second revolting to anyone with a non distorted sense of sexuality.

The MSM has always portrayed what they have called "Homophobics" as religious people...i.e. stupid, uneducated, hillbillies.
From a medical standpoint, AIDS and the financial burden to all normal people who pay for this deviancy is simple to understand.
Capillaries are close to the surface in the anus...as opposed to the vagina. Nature (or God if you like)designed the anus as an out-door only and when used as a faux vagina, the capillaries can easily break and there is a blood (and disease) transfer.

In Lincoln's time, "gay" meant happy. So? I'm sure he was gay sometimes.
To disrespect Abraham Lincoln all these years later is disgusting. Although, look at FDR and JFK. Both of them are held in high regard for Democrats and just look at their lack of morals when it came to their own wives.
