I hate to you folks tell this, but Barak Obama is going nowhere fast. First of all, he is Black. Second, as it stands right now, Blacks have absolutely no political power in Washington, DC. They threw what political power they had right out the window by voting in lock-step for the Democrat party which has kept them in economic and political slavery for the last fifty years. Third, Black politcal power is waning very fast as Hispanics have overtaken them as the largest minority group in the USA. And...Hispanics and Asians will outpace Blacks for years to come in every measurable parameter of successs that counts.

Hispanics and Asians know how to use their political power and have quickly diversified their political loyalties to gain maximum political leverage. Fourth "Black" organizations such as the Congressional Black Caucus and NAACP are nothing more than social meeting clubs. There is no one of real influence for them to talk to. They have mocked President Bush. Only an idiot would do that!!!

Blacks have failed miserably to assimilate themselves into the general American society, perferring to play the race card, which does not work any longer. Their current leaders have failed them, the Democrat Party has failed them, and most of all, they have failed themselves. A big reality check is what's needed. Jesse Jackson, John Conyers, etc. ain't helping matters by making butt heads out of themselves in Ohio. Let's face it: Being Black, liberal and Democrat ain't cool and it certainly ain't where it's at!!!

And the thing that really scares the Democrats is the fact that 1) Hispanics are heavily devout Catholic and 2) Asian moral values frequently clash with those of the Democrats. Supporting things like abortion on demand and gay marriages don't sit well with these groups in the long run.

I could be wrong but I believe Obama will put some distance between himself and the Congressional Black Caucus. At least I hope he does.

I think Bill Cosby's on the right track.
