That would mean if someone wants to hire someone from Mexico and someone in Mexico wants to be hired, and both do so of their own free will, that transaction should be allowed to happen.

Not if the rest of us have to pay the free health care and education for that the person from Mexico and his family --- because that employer plans to benefit by paying very little and offering none of the standard employment benefits. Very few employers of the illegals will want their employees if they had to follow the labor laws --- they want to bring in cheap servants that the tax payers must subsidize.

A disingenuous argument from you as if we banned welfare for immigrnnts, you would still be opposed to them coming. And further you know that I am opposed to welfare for immigrants, illegals and citizens too. This is a total red herring on your part.
