"the difference is only a matter of 51 votes in the Senate, and 218 votes in the House and the signature of the President"
Why you silly goose, what the heck do you mean ONLY A MATTER?
Is the difference between law and no law, between legal and illegal.
Just because any law could possibly be changed in the future if the change can pass both houses and be signed by the President, does not mean it does not have to be obeyed while the law is in force.

Is the difference between law and no law, between legal and illegal. Most laws make more sense than the immigration laws. Murder, stealing, etc. are in fact murder, stealing, etc. all the time for all people. Immigration is more like a roulette wheel, sometime you are legal and sometimes you are not depending on where the ball bounces.
The very fact that we have "illegal" and "legal" immigration as opposed to "illegal" and "legal" armed robbery says a lot about the laws.
Like I said, it is an imperfect world and our laws are crazy but the best we can do.

Gee, we could just solve the murder and rape problem by making them legal, according to some on this thread.
"Problem solved! No more rape and murder crimes!"
