Missus & The Boy will be doing the Family Readiness thing - it's just for the families, not the troops. They're going to be here for the long haul.
And the gang at the Dueling Club wanted to give me that send-off, after all. Sounds like the barbarians will be the warmest, fighting in furs and hides.
The big thing with the kids is, schools. The Army schoolhouses have very solid dates, and they don't bend the time. We have to send them when the schoolhouse tells us.
Hey, I do the best drives at night - a holdover from the trucker days. We'll have scrapple, apple pie and coffee for breakfast at The PA Homestead!
Glad to hear that the Families have an established group for support. The Dueling Club should be fun for you, and the kids and their schoolhouse dates should help them be prepared.
You drive very carefully, and watch out for the other guys. And then have a wonderful visit!!
