Remember the law that makes it a felony to purchase or sell aborted baby parts for profit? It's part of the National Institutes of Health Revitalization Act of 1993. You would think with all of the pro-life lobbying groups in Washington, D.C., we would be hearing a multitude of voices crying out from the rooftops demanding a nationwide investigation to bring these baby butchering profiteers to justice. So where is the public outcry, where is the righteous indignation demanding that justice be upheld?

After a week of not hearing anything I began to ask around to find out what the problem is.

Well, it seems that some party hacks and policy wonks on Capitol Hill are saying that this federal law has a "loophole" and "cannot be used to prosecute anyone."

I was told that Christians need to support more bills that will regulate the baby butchering industry better. They said, "we must force the buyers and sellers" of aborted baby parts "to fill out forms and place more regulatory limits on how much people can charge" for human flesh. All this, I was told, "will make it easier for the FBI to do its investigation."

Of course, Prolifers really believe that the most unregulated industry in America, the abortion industry, is willingly going to fill out forms on just how many babies they butcher up and ship out everyday? Sure! This is like passing a law that requires thieves to fill out a government form every time they steal something.

So I took a copy of the law to a Top Gun law firm here in Washington, D.C., and asked them if this thing has a "loophole" in it. After they pulled up the codes and talked about it for awhile, you know what they told me? "There is not a prosecuting attorney in his right mind that would say this law cannot be prosecuted." In fact, anybody found guilty of illegally purchasing or selling aborted baby parts "under this law can spend 10 years in a federal prison." It's like one attorney said, "Can you imagine a defense attorney trying to convince a jury that his client, who sold 500 little baby eyeballs for $50 apiece, is NOT making a profit? That's not to mention the researchers who purchased the eyeballs with taxpayers' money."

So, why are some pro-life Christians in Washington, D.C., telling everybody we need more baby chop shop regulations? It's because they are bureaucrats and lobbyist who know nothing about enforcing existing law. They have adopted an inside-the-beltway mentality right out of Clinton's play book -- never mind about enforcing existing law, "we need more laws."

It is true that Congress does not enforce the law, they make laws. So what can Congress do? Congress can recognize the personhood of the child in the womb from the moment of conception. Congress can also make the use of aborted babies in research illegal, or demand information from the FBI on its enforcement of the existing baby chop shop laws. If Congress does not like what they see, then they can withhold funds from the FBI until it enforces the law. That's what Congress can do.

What can we be doing right now? We can tell Congressional and State legislators to just let the abortion industry flap over there in the breeze while the FBI conducts its nationwide investigation.

Something else the attorneys said was, this law is right down the FBI's alley. "The FBI has attorneys and accountants and this is what they do. That's how they busted Al Capone. The research labs' bank accounts across the nation are there. It's not that difficult for the FBI to run down this money trail."

Law abiding citizens that have information concerning the purchase and sale of aborted baby parts need to take that information to your local FBI state office. The FBI needs your help, and loves leads. Especially when Congress is breathing down its neck.

Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins.

Kidneys will be like Medical Marijuana. The Useful Idiot libertarians will lever us into a government-regulated programs for self-destruction of and gross profiting from our Bodily Property ... whether selling just the surface in mags and strip bars or digging a little deeper for the big bucks.

Good grief - don't tell me you're against MM - unless you're ready to foot the bill for Marinol® for all those who cannot afford it.
