"Can you name me a country where Muslims have been able to live under a non-Muslim government, once they became a sizable minority?"

In case you could not read the question, I have posted it again. It requests a country with a non-Muslim government in which Muslims are a sizable majority, in which Muslims are able to live. Now, the only part of that question that is up for interpretation is the the part regarding "where Muslims are able to live." I interpreted that as, where Mulsims accept the current regime. If that is a mis-interpretation of the intent of the question, I'll let the person who ASKED the question tell me. As for my answers:

Indonesia: non-Muslim government (check), majority Muslims (check), Muslims (this does not mean all Mulsims) accept the current regime (check) (note: Indonesia is what, 90% Muslim-I may be a bit off, if they did not accept the regime, I doubt it would last much longer)

Turkey: non-Muslim government (check), majority Muslims (check), accept the current regime (check-perhaps to a lesser extent than Indonesia, but acceptance, yes) (note: yes, a secular government was instilled under Attaturk, however, the question did not require the history to be discussed)

You are full of crap. Turkey shut down 7 Christian radio stations and several churches calling them "offensive". We all heard how Indonesias president c blamed the jews for all the worlds ills. I worked with 13 muzzies around 9-11. 7 of them spouted their hatred of America and the Jews the others followed the koran and didnt take the sides of the infidels. They remained silent about their co-religionists and let the infidels argue with them. Their silence showed whose side they are on!!!! INTERN and DEPORT!!!!!!

I can read fine. You on the other hand, seem to be ignorant of the differences between the words "minority" and "majority," as in once they became a sizable minority, as opposed to requests a country with a non-Muslim government in which Muslims are a sizable majority... (check).

Once they become the majority (whether by birth or, ahem, attrition) dhimmnitide pretty much becomes the fait accompli.

Errrm.. Repressive government (check), no major non-Muslim party (check), Church burning (check), treatment of religious minorities as lesser dhimmis (check), a State that massacred non-Muslims [Catholic East Timor ring any bells??] (Check). Is the is the ideal you have in mind, honest2God?

No major non-Muslim party (check), Ataturk using a carrot and stick approach, backed by brute force to impose his changed on the backward population (Check), Kemalists who came after him using force to keep extreme elements of Islam suppressed (check), Using the military and its influence to stay in power (check).
