Yes, lucky for all of us when the Republican party tanks because of all of us right-wing whackos, nobody will know who to blame because there will only be 5 people in the country and Ms. Whitman who have read her book and know that we're to blame. She is a pathetic excuse for a RINO and with people like Specter, Collins, etc., as RINO examples, that is saying something!
Hey Christie, I proudly admit to being a member of the Far Right. I can assure you that the Republican Party has not catered to me!
I feel so bad that I have contributed to destroying the GOP. It used to be that a conservative viewpoint was a necessity to being a Republican. Now it seems anything goes as long as the Pubbies win an election. Buying a few votes here, pandering to that group there, as well as spending like a drunken sailor is the way to go. I've got a feeling that lack of principle is as damaging as forthright conservative viewpoints for the Grand Old Party.
What comprises the "far right wing" Of the Republican Party?
(Apocalypse ch 3) "[15] I know thy works, that thou art neither cold, nor hot. I would thou wert cold, or hot. [16] But because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold, not hot, I will begin to vomit thee out of my mouth.
Now she has shown herself to be witless.......which is what we NJ folks always knew.
The same Christie Whitman who was AGAINST parental notification for minors to have an abortion.
That's why they have to call themselves the Republican Leadership Conference--like when a grocery store puts up a sign that says "Crisp fresh peppers" and they all look like Maya Ouspenskaya.
Unnngh! If we never hear from her again, it will be too soon!
The GOP may have it's problems, but Ms. Whitman certainly doesn't have the answers.
Actually, catering to the baby killing wing of the GOP would hurt the party.
Since the GOP's right wing began asserting its influence with the rise of Reagan in 1980, we have won 5 of the last 7 elections, won over both houses of Congress for the first time in decades, and will have sustained a majority in the U.S. House for over 12 years.
This is a typical blue state, defeatist mentality. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
The commoners are actually in charge of her ancestral political party. The commoners don't believe in aborting the poor, allowing Lance and Bruce to "marry," or in disarming everyone but the hunt country zillionaires (inheritance division). Most Republicans are just not at all like the the average Muffies and Skippers down at her country clubs and yacht clubs.
Pretty soon we'll be seeing her senseless drivel at Buck a Book right alongside anything written by Al Franken.
Don't know what Christie would say, but, IM(NS)HO, the right wing is where all the Party's principles, energy, commitment and power reside.
Christie comes from what Teddy Roosevelt called the "...gray twilight that knows neither victory nor defeat".
Ah Christie WHitless, whose NJ Supreme Court appointees unanamously supported the placing of Lousenberg's name on the ballot after the filing deadline. Way to go, Christie, it's part of your RINO legacy!
The "moderates" have been whining about this for 40 years and the party is stronger now than ever, and the trends are all good.
Am I ever glad she is gone.
More than 5 people will buy it--it will be the entire MSM, which will then spew an estrogen-fueled screech about the "importance" of this "scholarly" piece, written by a "major figure" in the (seriously split) Republican Party.
That'll last about 5 days.
Then we can bury that bozo b*&^% again.
