We have about 5-10 more Muffy/Skipper types to mow down in Wisconsin's legislative chambers.

The rest are decent, raw-meat eating, pistol-packin', whisky-slammin', b'ar rasslin' guys.

It will be fun to watch the good guys scare pimples onto the faces of the poofterwonk Dems, not to mention the School-Marms (some of which are reportedly male) as we sail into the next budget session soon!

I just read about this and was appalled. Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you!

Christie Whitman writes in her upcoming book that if the far-right wing of the Republican Party continues to be a major influence with the GOP, the party will be seriously harmed.

Christie, if that is true, could you please explain why, seven so-called far-right wing candidates defeated seven incombant moderate Republican, members of the Arizona House of Representatives in the primary last September!

Well, at least this is appearing early in the game. Even now, she's a has-been and four years from now, she will be a has-been-plus-four!

Can anyone convince me that anything Christie Todd Whitman says or does has any relevance whatsoever to Republican policies, chances for future success, governance, or indeed anything at all?

And is anyone interested? Will anyone but Democrats even buy this book?

Who is Christie Whitman? No one important, I gather.

Whitman,

For crying out loud, if there ever was a quinticential example of the old style republican.... Old Money, Country Club Set, running around it has to be Whitman (unfortunately).... Go back to the horse farm.

I agree that you can't go hard right and not wind up losing, but to suggest any move to the right will undermine the republicans is just foolishness.
