Okay, I admit it.

I created the AIDS retrovirus in my basement labor-a-tree (a little British lingo there) and injected it into African green monkeys who infected all the truck drivers in Africa.

I thought I was going to get away with it, but President Mbeki's ruling party was just too smart for me.

These people are killing themselves faster than anyone with any amount of money could save them. People do and say things to suit their own desires. You cannot help those who do not want the help. They, like many, use the goodness of the US to excuse their violent and unhealthy behavior. Because of this, they die. No matter who is blamed they still die. I wonder, in the end, if they feel it will have been worth it.

There will be a point in time where those who do not make the excuses and those who do abstain will be the only ones left. Then we can begin to rebuild.

What we are seeing in SA is a First World nation diving headlong into Third World squalor. I'm just glad that the Afrikaaners dismantled and destroyed their nuclear program before they turned power over to majority rule and the now-looming thugocracy.

It's just never enough, they are like spoilt children. Mbeki spends millions travelling to make peace across Africa, and believes every conspiracy theory out there on Aids, while bashing the USA. Nobel Peace prize, anyone? Millions of Africans will continue to die from Aids, and no-one can do anything about it.

Maybe one of the prominent Afrikian scholars from the many bastions of higher education will invent a new drug?

The demagogues that are pushing this line, including the African tree hugging Nobel Prize  winner who insists that AIDS was a creation by US scientists to kill off Africans, are the same folks behind Global Warming and several other pseudo science UN/NGO campaigns.  They are buying short term maneuvering room by setting up the US as the "bad guy" for some real and some imagined problems in order to distract the mob from their own corruption.

Castro has gotten away with this for years.  All the ills of his regime are somehow our fault, mostly because we have an embargo on Cuba.  Guess the fact that all the rest of the world trades freely with Cuba just doesn't factor into it.  Why does Cuba need to trade with the US?  Is it that they only want to buy US goods, or they don't have a functional economy so that they can't buy anything from anybody, US embargo or not.  Clearly there are sane people in Cuba and these other countries who don't buy this type of crap, but they either get killed, put in prison (or insane asylums) or somehow manage to escape.

In the case of Global Warming there is no real danger, beyond damaging economies and resultant fall out from that.  Unfortunately, in the case of AIDS, there's a good chance that the populations of Africa and Southeast Asia will be basically wiped out if these clowns succeed in demonizing the drugs and prevention programs coming from the west.
