Putting my flame suit on, before I make a prediction:
In the presidential election of 2028, the Republican Party platform will likely not even _have_ a plank on abortion. If it still _does_, it will state that the party disapproves of abortion, but leaves the decision to individual conscience.

I suspect you will be correct...especially if the party figureheads keep kowtowing to RINOs. Hell, if this crap keeps up, the party will probably be caving on gay marriage, sweeping gun bans, and "appreciation" of dhimmitude.
