Good evening, Calpernia!

Gun laws are strange. In the 60's we could walk down the highway with a rifle or shotgun to the store to buy ammo. Troopers would see you and pass by. We could enter the store and deposit our guns at the front counter and proceed to the back, purchase what we needed, collect our guns and be on our way. Troopers and constables would see us but no big deal. Except when they saw us with snowballs. Then we'd have a little talk.

This was 70 miles north of NYC.

I don't know what the law says about snowballs now.
