Thanks, eleni mou! This is the best thing I've read on FR in months. Its everything I believe in both as an Orthodox Christian and as a very long term member of the legal community who has spent most of that time in courtrooms, courtrooms with the name of Moses prominently displayed in most and a mural of Justinian handing down the Codex with Agia Sophia, surmounted by a golden cross, behind him dominating one in particular!
Nuclear option? On ourselves? On the Arabian peninsula? Please elaborate.
bump and ping
America appears to be in a low moral state if you look at Hollywood and some other sectors. But in my opinion the young people today are better than I seen before in my lifetime.
This is reflected in their community spirit, their real compassion and concern for others, and especially their performance in our armed services.
I'm optimistic that America is just about to see her greatest days.
In doing so, I stand shoulder to shoulder not only with my Senate co-sponsors and Chief Justice Roy Moore of Alabama but, more importantly, with our Founding Fathers in the conception of religious liberty and the terribly wrong direction our modern judiciary has taken us in.
All that this proves is that his head is as deeply inserted in his posterior as Moore's is, possibly even deeper.
EN TOUTOI NIKA!
Awesome post. Thanks. I'll be sure to pick up the New York Times tomorrow, for sure they will cover Miller's profound speech on the Senate floor.
I love Zell, but he has it all wrong about Kid Rock. He's gone to Ramstein, Kuwait, Qutar and Iraq with the USO
your a troll
Thank you so much for posting this.
Bethlehem in the First Temple period wasn't a major city. It was a tiny town. The big cities back then were Jerusalem, Hebron, Shiloh, Schem/Samaria (Nablus) etc.
WOW. I hung on every word. For fifty years the Rats have eaten away at the foundation of civilization. It's just so hard to believe that the pendulum might actually swing the other way.
I have always hoped and prayed that the US might remain a beacon of light even unto the Last Day. Could it be?
Gotta beef with Zell apparently? Your guy lost in November - is that it?
I mean, what's with you?
Ping
Your wrong, I do agree Kid Rock has almost made up for it, but I was seriously angry when I seen him with his head through the flag, I know exactly how Zell felt! I too was more angered by Kid Rock than by the nipple... I know Kid Rock thought he was being patriotic but he does not know proper flag etiquette I do respect him for his USO tours and spending his time with the military, bit I believe if he could do it over again he would not have done this the same way...
Truer and more needed words couldn't be spoken. ping
Nuclear option as in Senate confirmations of judges.
I'm sure Sen Miller thanks you for the clarification on the size of Bethlehem, but that doesn't change the significance of the message.
