Schnitt Show to be booted off WOAI (San Antonio?)
WOAI ^ | 12/15/2004 | Self

In the 2nd hour, Schnitt alluded to the fact that his contract has not yet been renewed past Jan 3.

During his rant, he whined that "he delivers millions and millions....etc" and as he began to complain how WOAI would so mistreat him, they cut into him with a Glen Beck commercial!

Not huge breaking news, but I think there's Schnitt's answer. Bless his heart, he means well, but he's not a genius. Tough to follow Rush's slot. Wonder who they'll replace him with....

No idea who this guy is, but if he really delivers "millions and millions," he will have radio stations lined up to throw money at him. :)

He's allright, I listen to him on my long drive sometimes... but mainly because it is either him or Rhandi Rhodes...

I'm in SA and I listen to Schnitt all the time. I like him a lot, since he uses biting humor and sarcasm to show the liberals as the idiots they are. I sincerely hope that he'll be staying on WOAI - if not, I'll be finding another station to listen to during his time slot.

Sounds like he is really in a Schnitt about it. I listen to KTSA instead of WOAI, so I am not familiar with his show. I know KTSA has made some changes lately...they eliminated that self-important arse Carl Wigglesworth finally. My drive home is actually peaceful now...I only have to yell obscenities at drivers now and not the radio. Although Chris Duel, who they replaced him with, really doesn't impress me much, too many silly trivia games and such, not enough discussion of current events. They also added Bill O'Reilly, which surprised me, since they have always proudly advertised that they are live and local, not syndicated, like the other talk radio stations here. I still like Ricci Ware the best, he's a hoot.

Since XERF did away with Paul Kallinger and Robert Smith, I don't listen to Southwest Texas radio anymore. KDLK went country also. Life is crazy.
