Personally, I love my Madden 2005 for the PC but this really does suck for the consumer. My brother loves ESPN's football game on the PS2. He loses, I "win"...but at what cost to me next version?

exactly - while Madden is an awesome game, it has been nice getting something different from ESPN. PLUS, at only $20, I was much happier with that over $50 Madden which has played the same for a long time

This is BAD for games and the NFL. It will virtually wipe out ESPN and the other games. I have both Madden 2005 and EPSN 2k5 and I can tell you that the ESPN game is better.
