This is BAD for games and the NFL. It will virtually wipe out ESPN and the other games. I have both Madden 2005 and EPSN 2k5 and I can tell you that the ESPN game is better.

I think EA makes great sports games but agree this is bad for consumer cause they will of course jack up the price...havent played Espn games but heard they were good

I can tell you that the ESPN game is better.

So why wouldn't you buy it if they went to fictitious teams and players? They're computer-generated manequins on screen, anyway - right?

that makes me feel better.. I spent 20 bucks because I thought I wouldn't play it that much.. then after playing it(I still can't get into the online.. too hard to meet up with people at certain times for the tourney's).. however it's defintely an addictive game.. best football one I've ever played.
