Emanuel, sweet child of Bethlehem, Almighty God who choose with man to dwell Who came to earth to ransom fallen men, And died the message of Gods love to tell. His birth was in a dirty stable stall. The cattle’s manger was his only bed. The King of Glory, Master over all, Asleep where all the animals were fed. The shepherds came and offered him their praise, Who heard the angels’ wondrous voices sing. The wise men tracked the star for many days, And many precious gifts to him did bring.
