Only going to get to the 50s today but the sun is brilliant...(More brilliant because I had an eye exam today and spent the children's inheritance on my first pair of prescription glasses!)

I remember my first pair of glasses. Spring 1971. They were the old black plastic frame glasses.

I look like Buddy Holly in them, LOL! I thought I had the pic somewhere, but can't find it, unfortunately. Whoops! Scratch that.

My good buddy John had saved the pic and he sent it to me a few minutes ago via MSN Messenger.

I just uploaded it to my website now.

There was a better and bigger one on the Overseas Brats websites not too long ago but it doesn't come up now via Google or on their website. :^(

Well Meek things have sure changed..My husband wore glasses like that at one time...My arms just got too short..and I got mine at the drug store ..but old age does require a little more help..I dread the day it's full time glasses..for distance ,too.
