An apartment near the World Trade Center site that former Police Commissioner Bernard B. Kerik used to engage in an extramarital affair with publisher Judith Regan, was originally donated for the use of weary police and rescue workers who were helping after 9-11! One bedroom faced the pit of ground zero... Regan would visit it while Kerik was police commissioner, meaning between Sept. 11 and Dec. 31, 2001. I'm more interested in the President of the United States choosing a candidate for the free worlds HOMELAND SECURITY BOSS who has people running around his private residence that entered our country ILLEGALLY. During war time yet!

I thought his private sex life was none of our business. I thought the only thing that mattered was how he did his job.
This will not play out badly, I don't think.
Shame he wasn't more spotless, he was a fantastic candidate.
The bashers don't have to try very hard to "go after" Rudy. Now that the country sees how even the GOP does business in these northeastern "blue" states, I'd say Rudy's national political aspirations are just about history.
Give it time .. I'm sure the Dems are looking to see if they can hammer him for that too

How could someone have this much easily uncovered garbage no 1., not uncovered and no.2, accepting the nomination knowing all this would eventually come out?

don't worry - if a SCOTUS nominee similar to Antonin Scalia was put up tomorrow - and we found out that a few years back, he cheated on his wife, or legally sold some stocks, and he was facing defeat because of it, all of the same people here would be howling that it was wrong to disqualify him for that.
they don't like Kerik here because he is from NYC, and he's aligned with Rudy, who freepers don't want to see enter the 2008 presidential race. that's all this is about.
Because the media wants to eleminate Gulianni, a real threat to the beast and her chances for the white house. They will make sure no one is standing in her way. This story should have been dropped as soon as he withdrew his nomination.
Hard to believe this is still a "story". Whatever.
