U.S. Sen. Zell Miller will be joining Fox News Channel as a contributor next month, Fox announced Tuesday.
Kevin Magee, vice president for programming at Fox, said in a news release that the Georgia Democrat will begin appearing on the network in January.
"I am excited to be joining FOX News Channel and am eager to contribute to the continuing success of the network," Miller said in the release.
Miller was governor of Georgia for two terms and was appointed to the Senate to fill the unexpired term of Republican Sen. Paul Coverdell in 2000. He has also taught both history and political science as a professor at University of Georgia, Young Harris College and Emory University.
Miller, a strong supporter of President Bush, was the keynote speaker at the Republican National Convention earlier this year. He has infuriated many Democrats with his independent stance.
Coombs Crumbs whatever.....
Ooooooooooooo! Thanks!!!
Zell yes!!! Bump!
Zell Miller is one of the last of a kind.
Credit Nixon with the Southern Strategy, to win over those states to the Republican Party.
Looks like old Tricky Dick was right, again.
This is GOOD NEWS!
thanks U.D.
They should give him his own show called, "Spitballs!".
Loved Zell's priceless response to Hissy's inane question about Zell believing we should arm the troops with spitballs (following Zell's great speech at the Republican Convention): "THAT WAS A METAFER! YOU KNOW WHAT A METAFER IS, DON'T YOU!!" It got better when, after whipping Mathews like a rented mule, he challenged Matthews to a DUEL!!! LOL!
That was one of the best interviews I have ever seen a politician give. Seems to me Matthews was able to squirm away only half beaten to a pulp, while Zell was just warming up! What was it that Doc Holiday said to Johnny Ringo, after Ringo said "I was just foolin' about."? Something like "I wasn't. Fightin' for blood."
Zell is what used to be known as a "Blue Dog Democrat". What has happened to the Blue Dog Democrats over the past 20-30 years is that the idea of liberalism swept over them. Some of these Blue Dogs retired from political spectrum, some passed away, and then the young bloods were elected with ideas that have cost them everything.
I have approximately 12 of Zell's speeches printed out and first, he lets me know that he is a patriot and a statesman. When I hear idiots like Kerry, Dean, Sharpton, Dauschle, and Hillary talk their propaganda, all I have to do is open my file for Zell, and he brings back the inspiration for me to carry on.
I am sure that when he comes on the set with Fox, it will be the beginning of the end for some of the other news medias.
Yoo Hoo! Zell on Fox. Love the guy.
Be nice if he replaced those two clowns Mort and whats his name on Brits show.
The funniest thing on tv the whole election cycle was Zell giving Chris Matthews a public spanking.
Give 'em HE**, Zell !!Mad as a FOX! Zell Miller joins Fox News
