Military recruiters at Hamline under fire

Hamline University's Student Congress will vote today on a resolution asking university administrators to ban U.S. military recruiters on the campus because the military discriminates against gays.

"I think we're probably going to pass it," said Graham Lampa, a 21-year-old Brainerd, Minn., senior who authored the resolution at the St. Paul university.

"If we are going to allow recruiters onto our campus, we want to make sure they are willing to take any of our students, not just the white students or the straight students or the rich students," Lampa said.

I guess they better keep 3M, Honeywell, and General Dynamics, Alliantech, and all other employers out of their career fairs ,too. Those companies build stuff for the military!
