A shakeout is afoot in the world of urban apparel, as sales of once red-hot labels begin to cool, analysts and industry executives said. The across-the-board slowdown is alarming some of the major department-store retailers that had allocated a growing amount of space to these brands on the belief that the double-digit sales growth of recent years would continue, sources said.
Federated Department Stores, which operates the Macy's and Bloomingdale's chains, for instance, is seeing recent sales of urban brands decline in the double digits, compared with year-ago levels, said one person, who added: "It has everyone worried."

Meanwhile, demand for the oversized jerseys and baggy jeans that these lines were known for dwindled, as classic looks regained popularity.

"What we had at retail," admits Ullmann, Phat Fashion's president, "was too urban."

I think I'll go home and throw my new Dell out the window!
that would appease the boycott wonders out there!!!!
Yea, me too. The only company I would say I boycott. Their in-your-face anti-2nd amendment stance really bothered me. I wrote an email just questioning if that was their stance (I issued no threats) and the response was incredibly arrogant. That clinched it for me...
I will break the 17 in flat screen monitor and fill it with Heinz ketchup.
You've got Freepmail
Not suprising that you support the Levi's Strauss Company's anti-gun agenda.
That one is a classic, Mike. One would almost guess that you voted for Clinton.
501s: the only jeans that fit/look right for me.
Nice to know that some folks refuse to support leftist/un-American organisations such as Levis Strauss.
Nice to know that some folk support leftist/un-American organizations such as Kalashnikov.
Or is there another reason you have that link posted on your homepage?
I don't care what you purchase with your money, why do you care what anyone else buys with theirs? Don't bother answering this question, I'm sure the logic will be too convoluted to understand.
Have you heard any of the country/hip-hop mixes? The Next Thang, trust me.
Kalishnikov is a man, not an organization. Besides...the Izhmash Company is in Russia, not San Francisco. They are not trying to strip Americans of their Right to Keep and Bear Arms like Levi Srauss Company. In fact it is quite the opposite, as they would like Americans to buy as many of their rifles as possible.
Take a look at some of the organizations that Levi Strauss gives money to. I've provided a link above.
Errr - no. Lemme catch up with the country stuff first!
Yep I said every word. Look at the results, now you can go to NYC and actually not worry about being mugged or killed and Giuliani is the reason.
You notice you bitter old man that no one really cares. That the result speaks for themselves.
And here is an open invite to tour my gun collection anytime. I "grabbed" them all from law abiding 3 yr olds at the county fair!!!!
I think the Red Chinese will be calling you for your communist kalashnikovs anytime now.....they seem to think that you are on their side, considering your armaments on your webpage....
Don't you have anyone else to stalk? You aren't any fun to annoy anymore....no I lied again. This is hiliarious. What I wear makes me liberal. Gee, and you guys wonder why some of my generation refuse to be conservative. It is crap like that which drives people away.
and you were correct sir, the logic was lost on him, because logic is liberal too!!! LOL
LOL! You really are a piece of work aren't you. Levi Straus is the mortal enemy of conservatives and Russia is the friend of our RKBA.
I do not care what you purchase, it is your own business. If you want to support the Russian economy, be my guest. However, do not attempt to influence the buying practices of anyone else on some lame ass position such as 'at least they aren't in San Francisco'.
You need a history lesson...why don't you read up on the origins of your beloved Ak-47....
http://www.ak-47.net/ak47/history.html
got to get back to selling hot dogs and grabbing guns from 3 yr olds in strollers........
you know I tried a KBR hotdog yesterday at chow, but it just didnt compare to the ones im selling!!!!
I collect surplus military firearms. I also own rifles manufactured by the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Imperial Germany, Czarist Russia, Red China, Turkey and Persia. With your logic I'm also supporting the Kaiser, Hitler, Stalin, Mao and the Romanovs.
If you have evidence that the current Russian Federation is working to subvert our RKBA please provide it.

I've already provided a link above to Levi Strauss & Company's Grants which show their support of anti-gun, leftist, homosexual and racist organizations.
