Too funny cartoon about the cats scratching. I've had to leave plastic runners near a couple doors for 15 years because my 2, only 2, cats, won't stop scratching the carpet to get to the other side of a closed door.

Mine are the same way, Kathy.
Two thresholds I've had to install to cover the damage from just two cats.
There is nothing in the rooms they desire to enter!

Well, I guess mine are normal then. LOL!! And they just keep at it whenever the doors are closed, and after all these years. And you're right about what's on the other side.

Finally catching up while you guys sleep.
Tinker Toy is fun!
And don't be giving me a hard time, or it WILL be off to the corner.
Now, I must get some sleep.

Very, very close. The Air Force folks lived in temperature controlled rooms and each room had a mickeywave, dorm frig, small tv, etc. We lived in some old barracks left over from who knows what conflict, 12 to a room, on bunks. There was heat in the winter, but no AC. It was so hot during the summer that we'd turn on fans, get nekkid, drape wet towels over ourselves, and drop ice cubes on top of the towels to try to cool off. And no, it wasn't a group thing. Each person was on their own bunk.
Didn't want tomkow to get the wrong idea...
